The Company offers a Scaffold Inspection Service using the Scaff-tag System of Inspection with inspections being entered on the back of the holder as a ready reference that the scaffold is compliant.

The Company insist on the use of Personal Protective Equipment i.e. Safety Harness, Safety Helmets, Safety Boots, Hi-Viz Vests, Gloves, Overalls and other special equipment supplied where applicable.

Site Safety Meetings are held with Site Managers where all aspects of Safety are discussed.

Weekly and monthly Safety Audits are carried out on all our sites as part of our Health and Safety Management Scheme.

As the Managing Director of Grosvenor Scaffolding Co. Ltd. it is my responsibility to ensure that our Health, Safety and Environment Policy is fully implemented within the Company. I am convinced that by ensuring it is fully implemented, it is not only good for people and the environment but also makes good business sense. The achievement of effective health, safety and environmental management ranks equally with all of our other key objectives. It is an integral key requirement of good business management and is a major contributor to our success.

Our policy requires us wherever we operate to:

• Prevent pollution.
• Comply with all relevant legislation.
• Adopt new techniques and better systems as they become available.
• Provide appropriate training and awareness briefings thereby ensuring that all Staff are kept aware of the policy and their individual responsibilities.
• Strive for continuous improvement by setting objectives and targets and measuring performance against these.
• Display this Policy at Grosvenor Scaffolding Co. Ltd. offices and make it available to the public on request.

The Company’s “Health and Safety Manual” and “Environmental Manual” provide the general framework of how we will undertake these responsibilities and define the management system and procedures to ensure that this Policy is implemented.
